Spiritually Akin is a holistic wellness and community care organization devoted to supporting individuals and families through every stage of life. Rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and earth-centered healing, we provide services that nurture the mind, body, and spirit in a grounded and meaningful way.
We specialize in maternal wellness, doula care, childbirth education, and community-based support designed to hold families with dignity and intention. Our approach blends evidence-informed care with holistic practices to ensure each person feels supported, seen, and empowered in their journey.
Beyond birth work, Spiritually Akin offers wellness workshops, support circles, youth mentorship, and restorative healing spaces. These programs are created to strengthen emotional well-being, build resilience, and foster deeper connection within the community.

Our Founder
Taylor Campbell (also known as Mama Tay)
Mama Tay was raised by her village in the south bay area in Los Angeles, Ca. She was known to have a healing spirit since she was a child. It wasn't until she was around 24 when she started to dive deep into her healing journey. In 2017 she had her daughter Charly. In her experience being pregnant, she was able to really dive into her shadow work and able to tap into her maternal bloodline. Taylor was learning the strength her mother had gain from her grandmother, her grandmother from her Nanny (97 yr. old great grandmother that she takes care of to this day) and so on & so on!

Taylor became a doula in 2020 by Mama Kim at Kindred Space LA. She was able to learn a whole new healthier way of tapping into herself spiritually, emotionally, mentally and emotionally. She knew this is where she needed to be! Taylor started Spiritually Akin because she wanted to give back to her community. She wanted to be able to provide these spiritual services in the neighborhoods she grew up in that haven't had the resource or knowledge of these types of healing experience.
